spoken used to ask someone politely to wait while you find out information, finish what you are doing etc. Also, to be patient or continue to do something difficult or unpleasant “Bear with me a minute, and I’ll check if Mr Garrard’s in” // “Regarding the credit situation, would you be able to bear with me until this afternoon/tomorrow morning..?” // “Please bear with me” // “(…) so please bear with me until the end of the day and I’ll confirm that we can go ahead as we discussed on Tuesday” // “Please bear with me while they decide” // Soyez patient (et je reviens vers vous avec l’info)
